The heart of Breast Friends of Bel Air is the incredible community we’ve built together. We’re honored to share the experiences of members whose lives have been touched through friendship, support, education, and connection. Their words remind us why our mission matters—and why no one should face breast cancer alone.
“Thankful to the Breasties of Bel Air for gifting my family a meal for the holidays! Thankful to still be here in 2025 despite being diagnosed 2023 with Stage 3 Triple Negative Breast Cancer! This is just a reminder of the reason for the season and my family is BEYOND GRATEFUL! Happy Holidays Everyone.”
“Hey Pretty Lady! Thank you for hosting the get together, it was wonderful! It's official, I am doing the 6 rounds of TCHP starting in exactly 2 weeks. I'm stronger going into this after watching you go through your journey. Thank you for sharing your story!”
“As a breast cancer survivor, I will always be grateful for Breast Friends of Bel Air. From the moment I was diagnosed, they reminded me that I wasn’t alone. The care package they gave me brought so much comfort during treatment, and the recommendations they shared for compassionate doctors helped me feel more confident every step of the way. I was also incredibly thankful for the post-surgery supplies that had been generously donated by other survivors. Those thoughtful gifts made a difficult time a little easier.Breast Friends of Bel Air is more than an organization—it’s a community that truly cares. Their kindness, support, and generosity made a lasting impact on my breast cancer journey, and I’m so thankful they were there when I needed them most. I highly recommend them to anyone facing a breast cancer diagnosis.”
"I joined this group when I found out I had breast cancer in Jan 2026. I came here for support, advice and because I knew people in the group could talk from personal experience and not just “I know what you are going through” empty talk. I got helpful advice from members regarding preparing for surgery and things that would be helpful afterwards. I don’t feel so alone. Members have been very kind and supportive. Not that I wish anyone to be a member of this club but I hope that I am able to provide some sort of support and comfort when needed."
"When I was diagnosed in October 2021, I entered a terrifying world of endless scans, tests, and doctors' appointments. Even with an amazing network of friends and family, the journey felt so isolating.Finding The Breast Friends of Bel Air in late 2024 changed everything. Moving from a quiet observer to actively connecting with women who truly get it has been a vital part of my healing. To Danielle, Jennifer, and all my local "breasties"—thank you for creating a safe harbor and making sure none of us have to walk this path alone."
